Andrew Wallace MP hits the road across Fisher to hear from locals
Federal Member for Fisher, Andrew Wallace MP, is wasting no time getting back out into the community following the 2025 Federal Election — launching a week-long Listening Post Roadtrip across the electorate.
Over the five days, Mr Wallace will visit 20 locations across Fisher, meeting with locals to hear first-hand about the issues that matter most and discuss priorities for the new parliamentary term.
“The election may be over — but the real work starts now,” Mr Wallace said. “I want to ensure the voices of our community are heard clearly in Canberra. That’s why I’m hitting the road again this week — to listen, to engage, and to ensure that the concerns and ideas of people right across Fisher are front and centre.”
Mr Wallace said early conversations on day one had already shown strong community interest in key local issues, especially following the national trend for the party.
“Cost of living, infrastructure, health services, community safety and the environment — these are just some of the topics locals have raised today,” Mr Wallace said.
“After a hard-fought campaign, this is an important opportunity to reset the conversation — and I’m encouraging everyone to come down and have their say.”
The Roadtrip will run across the week, with public stops from Kings Beach to Palmwoods, Beerwah to Alexandra Headland.
“It doesn’t matter how you voted — my door is open to every local in Fisher. If you’ve got a concern, an idea, or simply want to share your thoughts on where we go next as a country, I want to hear from you.”
“The election may be over — but the real work starts now,” Mr Wallace said.
