By Tani du Toit

Sunshine Coast’s Assunta Hamilton, a respected Naturopath with a strong foundation in integrative medicine, has been named a finalist in the 2025 Clean + Conscious Awards, with four natural health and wellness products recognised for their excellence in clean ingredients, sustainability, and ethical practices.

The Clean + Conscious Awards celebrate the best in safe, sustainable, and socially responsible products across Australia and New Zealand. Mrs Hamilton’s finalist entries span both human and animal wellness, and include:

• Wild Yam Cream - A nourishing topical cream supporting women’s hormonal and skin health.
• Tribulus Cream - Formulated to assist men’s hormonal balance and skin vitality.
• Horsie Coolio Gel - A cooling, anti-inflammatory herbal gel for horses, featuring organic Aloe vera leaf juice and homeopathic Arnica 30c.
• Organic Doggie Wash - A gentle, skin-friendly wash for pets, crafted with organic, clean ingredients.

“Being named a finalist for not just one, but four products is a true honour,” Assunta said. “These formulas were created to support the health of people and animals using clean, natural, and evidence-based ingredients. It means a lot to have that recognised by such a highly-regarded platform.”

Assunta is a qualified Naturopath registered with ANTA, an ACES EDU certified Mould Testing Technician, and a non-practising AHPRA-registered Advanced Care Paramedic, now working full-time in naturopathy. This background gives her a unique ability to blend natural therapies with medical insight, offering her clients safe, effective, and holistic treatment plans.

Each product was judged on its ingredient integrity, sustainability, ethical sourcing, and social responsibility - all values central to Assunta’s clinical philosophy.

“My goal has always been to empower clients and their animals with trustworthy, natural solutions that truly support wellbeing,” she said. “This recognition reinforces that mission.”

Winners are announced in August. To book a consultation or to explore Assunta’s products please visit www.thegreenmedic.com.au.
