Nambour legal firm celebrates 50 years of leadership and innovation in law
This year Nambour’s Bradley & Bray Lawyers marks a significant milestone as it celebrates 50 years of service, growth, and innovation on the Sunshine Coast.
Founded in 1976 by Tony Bradley as AG Bradley and Associates, the firm has grown from a small local practice into a recognised leader in property, succession, and commercial and business law.
Mark Bray began working for the firm in 1980, and went on to purchase the business in 1986, re-naming it Bradley & Bray Solicitors.
For 33 years, Mark solely owned and operated the firm, building a reputation for excellence in law, and fostering close and long-term relationships with clients and within the local community.
A new chapter began in 2015 when Jacob Corbett joined the firm as a Commercial Paralegal and Assistant to Mark Bray. Admitted as a Solicitor in 2016, Jacob became a partner three years later.
Under the new partnership, the firm expanded rapidly, purchasing the well-respected Sunshine Coast practice Welsh & Welsh. Following Mark Bray’s retirement in 2021, Jacob became sole Director and rebranded the firm as Bradley & Bray Lawyers.
Bradley & Bray continued its growth trajectory when Peter Griffin joined as Partner in 2022, and the firm acquired his Brisbane-based practice, PMG Law, extending its presence into the Brisbane market.
Very rapidly, two significant milestones followed with the 2023 acquisition of Maroochydore firm Law In Business and the promotion of Bridie Edwards to Director, the youngest and first female Director in the firm’s history.
In 2025, Bridie was appointed Partner, strengthening the firm’s leadership team.
With a thriving team, multi-generational clients and a swag of awards and professional recognition under their belts, Bradley & Bray Lawyers has gone from strength to strength, establishing itself as a Sunshine Coast, State and National leader in technology driven solutions, professional development and advancement, and providing extraordinary legal advice for their clients.
Speaking at a celebratory function held on the Sunshine Coast earlier this month, Director Jacob Corbett paid tribute to the firm’s founders, past leaders, and staff.
“We are incredibly proud of the legacy built by Tony Bradley and Mark Bray,” Jacob said. “Our success over the past 50 years has been made possible by the loyalty of our clients, referrers, and the dedication of our team.”
He thanked everyone for their ongoing support and acknowledged the trust they have placed in the firm, expressing confidence in its future.
