Long Flat Hall Dances Spring Ball to be held this month

The next dance for the popular Cooloola Coast Dances group at Long Flat Hall is the Spring Ball for the learner dance group on Saturday September 26 from 7.30pm till 11.30pm.

“The Cascade Band is playing and we are asking patrons to ‘bring a share plate’ for supper, and tea/coffee, sugar and milk will be provided for attendees,” said organiser, Julie McPhail.

“There will also be a raffle on the night as a fund raiser with a meat tray, a fruit and a veg tray as our patrons reward for supporting the raffle. Tickets are $1 each.

“The theme of the Spring Ball is ‘Gold and Silver’, with Belle and Beau prizes, along with lucky spots, lucky door and Monte Carlo prizes,” she said.

“Our next Cooloola Coast Dances Group Old Time Dance is October 3 with Dave (Mystique) playing for our guests. Now that the evenings are warmer, we will be starting at 7.30pm.”
