Drysdale Funerals to host gentle grief seminar in Nambour

When someone we love dies, the world can feel unfamiliar and overwhelming. Grief touches every person differently, bringing a wide range of emotions and questions. For those seeking understanding, comfort and practical guidance, Drysdale Funerals is hosting a Coping with Grief Seminar in Nambour this November.

Presented by Pastor Matt Thiele, the seminar offers a gentle and compassionate exploration of grief and loss. Attendees will gain insight into what grief is, why it affects us so deeply, and some of the ways people can navigate the journey of bereavement. The session also explores the stages of grief and the questions that loss often brings into our lives.

With more than 25 years of experience as a counsellor, hospital chaplain, funeral celebrant and Lutheran pastor, Pastor Thiele combines evidence-based knowledge with personal understanding and empathy. His warm and approachable style helps create a safe environment where people can learn, reflect and feel supported.

There is no expectation to speak or share personal experiences. Guests are welcome to simply listen and take away what is helpful for them.

The event will be held on Saturday November 7 from 10:30am to 12:30pm (with light refreshments to follow), at Drysdale Funerals Chapel, 6 Eric Street, Nambour. Please RSVP to daniel.puttlitz@drysdalefunerals.com.au or by calling 5441 1366.
