Flaxton Gardens hosted Long Lunch to raise funds for The Everyday Foundation

Generous businesses have rallied behind The Everyday Foundation's annual Long Lunch, with luxury automotive brand Lamborghini among those lending their support to end hunger in the region.

The Zaleta Love Food, Give Food Long Lunch will be held on August 28 at Flaxton Gardens where guests will enjoy a four-course meal, live and silent auction and on-site after party.

All sponsorship spots have been filled, but table sponsorships and tickets are still available and filling fast for community-minded businesses and individuals who want to do their part while enjoying a great day out.

The Everyday Foundation's general manager Karen Gullo said the outpouring of support reflected a growing commitment from the business community to tackle food insecurity head-on.

"We have so many fantastic local and Brisbane-based businesses that are throwing their support behind our cause," she said.

"It means the world to us that people share our vision of a more supported and connected community."

Last year more than $200,000 was raised on the day and Karen said she was confident this year's attendees could go above and beyond that amount.
