Free International Women’s Day themed Chamber event to inspire local business owners
The March Nambour Chamber of Commerce Coffee Catch Up will be a very special free business community event in the lead up to International Women's Day.
“Our keynote speakers are Jenna Sanders, Mayor Rosanna Natoli, and Jeanette Allom-Hill, all inspirational achievers and strong advocates for women to break barriers, push boundaries and lead the way,” said Chamber President, Mark Bray.
Jenna Sanders is the founder and co-owner of Kenilworth Bakery, now with four locations across Queensland; Kenilworth, Mooloolaba, Bribie Island, and the newest in Samford. A mum of four and third-generation baker, Jenna knows how to juggle life, family, and fresh donuts, all before lunch.
Mayor Rosanna Natoli has had a long and successful career across media, academia and now local government and Jeanette Allom-Hill is the CEO of Lionhearted Foundation and Bridge Consulting, and has held senior roles with Boston Consulting Group, Optus, NBN, Microsoft, Transport, Treasury, Prime Minister and Cabinet, and Sunshine Coast Council.
“We will also showcase some of our successful women in business who are members of the Nambour Chamber of Commerce.”
The popular networking event will take place on Thursday, March 5 in the Library Forecourt on Currie St Nambour from 7.45am.
“This will be a fabulous opportunity for our guests to hear from inspirational women, enjoy delicious coffee and pastries from Walter’s Artisan Bread, and connect with our business owners and managers,” said Member Services manager, Julie Smedley.
“RSVPs are optional, but you will receive a reminder if you do register,” she said. “No payment or signing in is required. We are excited to see both our regular members and non members there. If you have been sitting on the fence about joining the Chamber, it will give you a little taste of what our networking events are like.”
The March event is proudly sponsored by Cartridge World Nambour, and the Nambour Chamber of Commerce. You can find out more or register to attend at nambourchamber.com.au
