Kenilworth Dairies saves the day, launches new single-origin milk

A Mary Valley dairy family with more than 80 years of farming history behind them will have their milk sold as a standalone product for the first time, with Kenilworth Dairies launching "One Farm" milk sourced exclusively from the Rozynski family's Brown Swiss herd near Imbil.

Kenilworth Dairies has effectively saved the Mary Valley farming family after their contract with Maleny Dairies was cancelled in July.

With no income expected from September 15, there would have been no way for the farm to pay the approximately $150,000 a month in food, irrigation and power to keep the cows after the deal fell through.

Produced from the Brown Swiss herd, Kenilworth Dairies says One Farm offers consumers something rarely found in Australia: milk that comes entirely from one farm, one herd and one farming family.

Unlike most milk products, which are blended from multiple farms, One Farm delivers complete traceability from paddock to bottle, allowing customers to know exactly where their milk comes from.

The product has been developed in partnership with the Rozynski family, whose farming roots in the Mary Valley span more than 80 years. The initiative provides a dedicated market for part of the family's milk production while showcasing the quality and character that come from a single-origin dairy operation.
