The Nambour Community Foundation is proudly awarding $72105.14 in grants alongside 13 local community groups at the 2025 Grants Ceremony on 21 October at the Nambour RSL.

Nambour Community Foundation Board Chair Al Upton said, “These grants are a testament to the generosity and spirit of our community.
“By supporting local organisations, we are investing in the wellbeing and future of Nambour.

“We are incredibly grateful for the dedication of our community partners and the tireless work of all our grant recipients.”

Founded in 2016 by Sundale Limited, Nambour Community Foundation’s goal is to further grow and sustain the annual giving program, to date we proudly celebrate more than $467,000 in grants provided to 100 local groups in the Nambour community and surrounds.

“Our success could not be possible without the strong local involvement in Nambour of founding organisation, Sundale Limited, who provided the initial $1M funding that underpins the annual grants, and the ongoing support of local corporate partners, Ken Mills Toyota, Nambour RSL, Ray White Nambour, Butler McDermott and other local donors.”

Former Sundale Community Foundation Board Chair and local media personality Caroline Hutchinson O.A.M, joins us today to present the 2025 grants awards to our deserving recipients.

Ken Mills Toyota, Dealer Principal Brett Mills, the longest supporting local corporate partner said, this year we are proud to support the creation of a safer, smarter, and more sustainable kindergarten environment at Brookes Street Nambour Community Kindergarten.

“We love supporting local groups within the community that has supported us for so many years. We want to give back in meaningful ways, and the Nambour Community Foundation allows us to do just that. It helps us reach smaller community organisations that we might not have otherwise connected with, groups whose work creates a big and lasting impact on the wellbeing of our community.”

In a heartfelt announcement, Suzanne Long, CEO of Nambour RSL Club, shared how Nambour RSL Club genuinely enjoys supporting the Nambour and surrounding community through the Nambour Community Foundation as it allows us to give back to the people who support us every day.

“Nambour has such a strong sense of community spirit and being part of initiatives that directly help local families and community organisation’s is incredibly rewarding. It’s not just about giving — it’s about creating opportunities, connection, and pride in our community. Seeing the positive difference our collective efforts make reminds us all why community really is at the heart of everything we do.

“This year, Nambour RSL Club proudly contributed $5,000 to Lily House, who play a crucial role in helping women and children regain their independence during some of the most challenging times in their lives.”

Ray White Nambour, Selling Principal, Matt O’Grady is proud to partner with the annual grants for a third year to distribute funds raised from the Ray White Nambour Rodeo into the local community, this year to The Everyday Foundation towards a kitchen fitout, and the Nambour PCYC creating a safe space.

“We wanted to focus more on community groups who support kids, I think it is important that some of the kids in our community get to realise there are people who want to help them to succeed as well as care for them.

“Ray White Nambour enjoys supporting the Nambour Community Foundation because the money we donate goes directly to people who need it rather than administration.”
