Nambour Heights Bowls Club: Community engagement and the Sunday Chook Run

Club Profile:  Nambour Heights Bowls Club

The Nambour Heights Bowls Club takes pride in being a community-oriented organization.

We actively support local businesses and provide a variety of entertainment options for residents in the area. Our club is dedicated to fostering strong relationships within the community and creating enjoyable experiences for everyone.

We are also enthusiastic supporters of the Cittimani Hospice, and one of the key initiatives in this partnership is our Sunday “Chook Run.” This event is designed to encourage individuals to come together and enjoy an afternoon game of bowls while supporting a worthy cause.

The Sunday Chook Run has been running successfully for several years and has become a highly popular event among members and guests alike. Its main goal is to foster participation in a fun, social activity while raising support for charity.

The Chook Run takes place every Sunday afternoon at 2:30 PM and lasts for approximately two hours. The cost to participate is just $2, and bowls are provided free of charge. Whether you are new to the game, a novice, or an experienced bowler, everyone is welcome to join. Simply come along to 54 Isabella Ave and enjoy a great afternoon with friends and community members.
