A bittersweet farewell to Nutworks’ popular chocolatier
After more than a decade of sweet success, Nutworks’ legendary chocolatier Michael Craigie has officially hung up his apron.
Affectionately known as the “Willy Wonka” of the Sunshine Coast’s leading macadamia processor, Nutworks, Michael recently stepped away from the chocolate pans, passing the torch — and the tempering tools — to talented new panner, David.
“If you’ve ever had the pleasure of indulging in Nutworks’ decadent Indulge or Confectionery ranges, you’ve tasted Michael’s passion, creativity, and signature touch of magic,” said International Sales Manager, Sarah Leonard.
“Since joining Nutworks in 2007, he’s been the mastermind behind our beloved chocolate-coated macadamias — selecting only the finest, locally grown nuts and enveloping them in rich, velvety chocolate to craft treats enjoyed across the globe.”
From timeless classics like Dark, Milk, and Salted Caramel Chocolate Macadamias to bold innovations like Dark Chocolate Ginger and Salted Chilli Macadamias, Michael’s creations have always celebrated the best of the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
