Traffic crash, Palmwoods

Police are investigating a serious traffic crash in Palmwoods overnight on May 10.

Around 8.50pm, police and emergency services were called to Woombye Palmwoods Road after a motorcycle and grey Hyundai Tucson collided head on.

The motorcyclist, a 20-year-old Towen Mountain man, suffered a broken wrist and was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Hyundai, a 56-year-old Tewantin man, and his three passengers, were all uninjured.

Investigations are ongoing, anyone with information or relevant dashcam vision is urged to come forward.
