New Burnside State High Performing Arts Centre on show for Mamma Mia!

Excitement is building at Burnside State High School as students prepare for their live performance of Mamma Mia! the musical.

“This will be the first performance to be held in the school's brand new, state of the art Performing Arts Centre,” said Lance Kimlin Head of Department, The Arts.

Students from Years 7 to 12 will be involved in the production.

“From singing, choreography, dancing and acting to set design and construction, sound and lighting, hair, make-up and costume design, participating students have been immersed in the experience of staging a love musical performance for months,” Mr Kimlin said.

Audiences will be able to enjoy both the live show and the new facilities at the school.

There will be night time performances on Wednesday the 21st, Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd of August, and a matinee on Friday the 23rd at midday.

No tickets will be available for purchase at the door, and cash payments will not be accepted.
