Service helps pets find peace and comfort in their final days

Katie Lone “Many people have palliative care or spiritual support at the end of life, but animals are often left to face that moment alone.”

For pet owners facing the heartbreak of saying goodbye, Katie Lone offers a gentle, holistic approach to end-of-life care through her business, Pet Send Off To Rainbow Bridge.

Katie, who has a background in nursing, provides energy therapy for animals in their final weeks and months – helping relieve discomfort and anxiety, and preparing them for what she describes as a peaceful transition to the afterlife.

“Whether your pet is ill, in pain or anxious, we can help,” Katie said. "We provide energy therapy and balancing sessions for pets in distress, helping improve their quality of life. As they near the end of their life, if you need someone to stand by your side during euthanasia, either at your home or vet, we can also be there for you."

Pet Send Off To Rainbow Bridge offers comfort and closure during times of loss. "Our gentle cremation services honour pets individually with dignity and love."

Additionally, if you know your pet is nearing the end or are considering euthanasia Katie offers energy sessions prior to the day to instil comfort and calm, preparing them for their passing and taking away any anxiety and stress they may be experiencing.

“Many people have palliative care or spiritual support at the end of life, but animals are often left to face that moment alone,” Katie said. “I offer energy sessions that ease pain and help pets feel calm and supported.”

Katie said the results speak for themselves. “I’ve worked with pets who are visibly more at peace after a session. And for those who are open to it, I also connect with spirit guides – both animal and human – who come to be with the pet in their final hours,” she said.

Sessions are designed to comfort both pets and their people. “It’s not just about managing pain. It’s about honouring the journey and helping the animal feel ready and supported as they pass on.”
