Halloween Pumpkinfest returns to Fairhill Adventure Gardens
Halloween PumpkinFest is back at Fairhill Adventure Gardens every day from Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November 2026, with spooky adventures, real pumpkin carving and a special encounter with the Woodland Witch, beneath the rainforest canopy.
Families can carve a real pumpkin together and take it home to light up Halloween. Every ticket includes a pumpkin to share, whether visitors come on their own, as a family or as a group, plus a candle to light it at the end of the day. Adults carve, everyone scoops, and carving sessions are timed around each family's arrival so there is plenty of time for the rest of the day.
Beyond the carving tables, visitors can meet the Woodland Witch and discover the magic hidden among the Gardens, dare to enter the Haunted Barn, follow the Trick-or-Treat Trail and take on the Forest Fairy Trail treasure hunt. Ranger-led animal adventures run throughout the day, and families can gather around the campfire for spooky, family-friendly stories before a costume parade around the bonfire. Dress-up is optional, and there are prizes for everyone in costume.
Even Fairhill's famous baby goats are in on the fun, with special Brush A Baby Goat sessions so they're looking their best for those Halloween Insta shots, plus Feed the Pumpkin Treats to the goats, guinea pigs and chickens every day. No wonder everyone loves Halloween PumpkinFest at Fairhill.
PumpkinFest is an add-on experience to a Fairhill Day Pass or Membership.
Across the PumpkinFest week the Gardens Café is introducing A Taste of the Blue Zones, new daily-changing lunch dishes inspired by the traditional foods of the world's longest-living communities, starting with Parippu, a Sri Lankan-style red lentil dish slow-simmered in coconut milk with turmeric and curry leaves.
