Yandina Branch of the Queensland Country Women’s Association (QCWA) recently hosted a High Tea to celebrate International Women’s Day. They would like to thank the ladies who supported them by attending the ‘Celebrate Autumn’ themed event especially guest speaker Sami Muirhead of 92.7 Mix FM and special guests Melissa Kelly, Wendy Bebbington (Division President), Margaret Bradburn (Division Treasurer) and Sandi Mills (Division Vice President).

Delicious food, beautiful vintage crockery, fabulous company and great donated prizes made this an enjoyable event and will allow the Branch to continue to support students at local schools, Wishlist, Books4Kids, Share the Dignity and others in need or those impacted by natural disasters.

A special thank you goes to the many local businesses, organisations and individuals who generously donated items for the event’s raffle, best dressed awards and lucky door prizes.

QCWA Yandina Branch meets on the 4th Friday of the month at 9.30a.m. at 11 Stevens Street, Yandina. Interested ladies are invited to attend or visit their Facebook page or email yandinabranch@qcwa.org.au for further information.
