New look Garden Show on track for this July at the Nambour Showgrounds

The Queensland Garden Show is back at the Nambour Showgrounds from 10-12 July 2026, with new celebrity speakers, more rare and exotic plant species and a refreshed experience designed to inspire home gardeners, families and plant lovers of all ages.

The much loved garden show is run by Greenlife Industry Queensland and the 2026 show is being planned to capture a new audience of garden lovers. Held at the Nambour Showground, the Show brings significant economic activity to the region while celebrating our state’s rich horticultural talent and heritage.

“We do not intend to make massive changes to the existing format, but rather to evolve what is already a popular formula,” said Chief Engagement Officer, Colin Fruk at a recent industry networking event at The Namba.

“We are taking on board feedback from a range of sources and reconceptualising the event.

“Thanks to social media platforms, we are able to reach out to a younger audience. The 2026 Show will be an Instagramer's paradise, incorporating amazing greenlife and floral displays, a giant kitchen garden installation, a magical children's garden, featured landscapes built in real time, and incredible public art made from reclaimed materials.”

The Show remains a one of Queensland's largest community-run events, harnessing the talent and passion of gardening clubs, amateur gardeners and the greenlife industry on the Sunshine Coast and right across the state.

“We are experiencing exceptionally high early interest from stallholders and exhibitors, with many returning favourites already locking in their space,” Mr Fruk said.

“New nurseries, garden retailers and horticultural suppliers are also coming on board, reflecting strong confidence in the Show and the growing appetite for gardening across Queensland.

“Following last year’s attendance of approximately 24,000 visitors, planning is underway to deliver an even better, even greener experience in 2026.”

The event continues to showcase the strength of Queensland’s nursery and greenlife sector — a multi-billion-dollar industry supporting jobs, regional communities and urban greening. Full exhibitor announcements and program highlights will be released progressively over the coming months.

Tickets are on sale now at www.qldgardenshow.com.au with locals being rewarded with discounted tickets if they visit the event on Sunday 12 July.
