Gardening greats set to inspire at Queensland Garden Show

Gardeners from across the Sunshine Coast will have the chance to learn from some of Australia’s best-known horticultural experts when the Queensland Garden Show returns to Nambour Showgrounds from Friday, July 10 to Sunday, July 12.
The three-day show will feature free talks, demonstrations and workshops offering practical ideas for indoor plant lovers, backyard growers, food gardeners and residents looking to create more resilient subtropical gardens.
Among the headline speakers is Better Homes & Gardens presenter Graham Ross, who will appear on Saturday and Sunday, drawing on a gardening career spanning 67 years in landscaping, media and garden touring.

Brisbane landscape expert Arno King will be MC across the weekend, providing advice on gardening in subtropical conditions.
The program will also extend from garden beds to the kitchen, with Sunshine Coast chef Matt Golinski presenting live demonstrations on the Cook’s Garden Stage throughout the show.
The Queensland Garden Show, formerly the Queensland Garden Expo, is expected to attract more than 30,000 local, intrastate and interstate visitors, bringing a major mid-year boost to Nambour.
The show will run from 8am to 4pm daily at Nambour Showgrounds, Coronation Avenue. Adult entry is $26.50 online or $29 at the gate, with Sunshine Coast residents eligible for a $21.50 Local’s Day ticket on Sunday.
Children aged 15 and under enter free. A free shuttle bus will operate from Nambour Station.
