Robyn Brown & The Indigo Collective at The Presynct, Nambour

Sunshine Coast based vocalist, Robyn Brown, known for her evocative and soulful vocal tone, graces The Presynct’s stage with her dynamic band to present brilliant musicianship, clever arrangements and spontaneous improvisations.

Regularly performing around Australia and Europe, Robyn is a jazz artist with an extensive repertoire that covers early blues, swing standards, Latin, bebop, soul jazz and self-penned originals. Her particular passion is the songs of the early jazz/blues singers.

Robyn and her band of seasoned musicians share a passion for improvisation and excellence. The band includes some of Queensland’s finest musicians – Ross Nixon, Peter Walters, Trent Bryson-Dean and Phil Hayter – who have an incredible wealth of experience between them, performing with some of the biggest names in jazz, touring the US, performing in New York and Japan, playing at Jazz clubs in Europe, performing on Television shows (Hey, Hey it’s Saturday, Spicks & Specks) and even having composed music for film scores. Their recent performance at Brisbane City Hall was sold-out

 Performing at The Presynct’s jazz night, The Jazz Sessions,  they will present some incredible jazz standards which you may not have heard before (some of the band’s favourites) along with songs that have been requested by their fans.   The Jazz Sessions nights are reminiscent of a European Jazz Club, listening events where you can enjoy a glass of wine while sitting up close and personal to the band. Gaining a reputation for presenting international standard artists, these jazz nights have been very popular.

 Robyn Brown & The Indigo Collective will be performing at The Jazz Sessions at The Presynct on Thursday 17th July, 2025, upstairs 15 Ann St, Nambour.  Show starts at 7pm.   Tickets can be booked through Oztix.com.au or purchased at the door.  Seating is limited so bookings are recommended.  Come ready for an evening of straight-ahead jazz, swinging tunes and smooth ballads.
