New business a sign of great friendship

After spending decades as professional sign writers, friends Graeme Brown and Brett Warren have started their own sign business in Nambour.

“We were having dinner at the Nambour RSL last year and somewhere along the line, decided it would be a good idea to go into business together,” Graeme said.

“Between us, we have experience in just about any kind of sign writing you can think of, so we can design and print signage and promotions for just about anything!”

“Over the years we have covered everything from T-shirts to vehicles to high rise buildings,” said Graeme.

“Because we can do the design work, we are a one stop sign shop, which is more convenient and less hassle for many people.

“Being signwriters by trade, we understand the practical aspect of design. Some logos and concepts look brilliant on a computer screen but just don’t work when you try to put them on to a vehicle or building.”

Graeme and Brett have fitted out their work space in Howard Street with state of the art equipment and, due to demand, opened earlier than anticipated.

“We are really happy with the way the workshop has come up,” said Graeme.

“It is a great space, there is plenty of parking out front and it is easy for people to get in and out of. We are really happy to chat about concepts with our clients, and if you think a promotional design could be reproduced on any surface, just come and ask.”
