Stalwart Alehouse & Brewery shuts down completely

After closing its doors in February  Stalwart Brewing Company owner Adam Tomlinson has appointed liquidators to wind up the operation.

The Stalwart Alehouse & Brewery in Currie Street was popular for its craft beer, food and live music. 

It opened on July 18, 2020 carrying with it  high hopes of bringing a breath of fresh air to town.

But the brewery could hardly have picked a worse time and it struggled with pandemic lockdowns, restrictions and the vaccine mandates smothering its chances.
