Easter celebrations were in full swing at Sundale in Doolan Street Nambour on Thursday April 17.
More than a thousand people had registered for the event, according to organiser Rochelle Coombs of Sundale. “We had 3500 people here for the Christmas event and more than 1000 people have registered online for this one, so they’re very popular,” she said.
The family-friendly event featured Easter activities including a free Easter egg hunt, free face painting, a slide and jumping castle, a petting zoo with rabbits and farm animals, and of course, the Easter Bunny was there to greet the children.
Families enjoyed food truck fare and a free outdoor screening of Peter Rabbit 2.
