Family and budget friendly entertainment on offer at this year’s Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show

By Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show President, Rowan O’Hara

Many families are doing it tough, so we are keeping our gate prices low while still delivering an action-packed Show. We have lined up the best entertainment possible - thrilling monster trucks, adrenaline-charged motor bikes, a wild brumbies show, world-class equestrian performances, dazzling fireworks, aerial dancers, woodchop competitions and so much more.

We have lots of free activities to keep the kids entertained - a massive petting zoo, a puppet master, a special kid’s hunting trail, bike shows, biscuit icing, free craft workshops, a Lego display and exhibits featuring horses, cattle, llamas, chickens and more.

The Sunshine & Sons Show Saloon, gourmet food stalls, and local producers are also back in 2026.

Trade Stalls
If you have a unique product to sell, why not secure one of our trade stall spaces and showcase your business to the largest audience in 3 days?

Connect with potential customers face-to-face and promote your products. Please note that we are not accepting food or drink vendors due to high demand.

Show Competition Sections are now open, so it’s time to start cooking, painting, snapping the best photos, and so much more. Have a look at our website for all the different sections and see what prize money you could win with your entry this year. https://sunshinecoastshow.com.au/info/competitions/

The Showgirl/Rural Ambassador Awards are designed to empower young leaders in rural communities and strengthen the agricultural show movement.

Whilst Rural Ambassadors is the preeminent rural and agricultural leadership program for men and women aged between 20 and 30, the Showgirls awards are designed for young women.

It is a unique opportunity to get a ‘behind the scenes’ perspective of your local show. As a successful winner, you then have the chance to compete at a regional and state level.

For more information, please see our website or contact the show office on 5441 2766.

• The Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show is on between 12- 14 June at the Nambour Showgrounds.
