Business mentors offers affordable support for local entrepreneurs
Trish Keena from Business Mentors Sunshine Coast returned to the coffee catch-up with a renewed call for local businesses to access mentoring services.
"Sunshine Coast itself has over 35,000 small businesses and they're the engine room of the economy," Keena said. "We need you and we need you to be successful."
The volunteer organisation offers mentorship for just "$300 a year. Everyone can afford that," along with a startup program at $100 for three months.
“We offer a beautiful startup program getting started with advice from people who've been in business all their lives and very, very experienced in many, many fields.”
Keena announced an upcoming Building Better Business Seminar on September 16 at the Maroochydore RSL, focusing on website optimisation. "How many of you have a website? Is it doing its job? Are you getting traction from it? Well, there are ways that you can make your website work better."
