Incredible vibe: 120th SunnyCoast Show delivers the horsepower
Hot Wheels stunt trucks, Aussie FMX Motocross, and the captivating Liberty Horse Show with wild brumbies and a massive Aussie flag circling the Nambour Showgrounds arena were just some of the high energy performances that wowed the crowd at this year’s Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show.
“The fireworks, mega petting zoo, arts and crafts pavilions, livestock performances and the busy entertainment stages also proved popular with the crowds,” said Show President Rowan O’Hara.
"The overwhelming feedback we have had is that people absolutely loved the Show. We have had people approach our team, online and via exit surveys, congratulating us. The feedback and support from our sponsors has blown us away, to be honest and we are now preparing for an even better show in 2027. It was just an incredible vibe,” Show President Rowan O’Hara said.
Patrons also benefited from our new Comlink partnership which allowed us to double the capacity of the free show shuttle buses connecting the show to a number of park and ride options around town.
The show’s ferris wheel run by Chant Amusements also played host to the highly successful MixFM WishList - Give Me 5 Sky High Cash Live broadcast event which raised over $68K on 12/6/2026 - taking fundraising to new heights!
Mr O’Hara paid tribute to the army of volunteers who made the show possible. “This year, our team of volunteers went above and beyond to make this show happen,” he said. “The same goes for the contractors, and the entertainers who didn’t stop - we could not put on such a successful show without them.”
Fortunately we have an all-weather, all-purpose, flexible showgrounds, and despite a few small rain events, nothing was cancelled and we still delivered a fantastic offering of non-stop performances, competitions, entertainment, trades, exhibits, rides, and education.
