Tramfest cancelled due to predicted storm dangers

Nambour Tramway Co Chair Chairman Greg Rogerson

Nambour Tramway Co Chair Chairman Greg Rogerson has informed the public that due to the BOM weather forecast for this Saturday, TNTCo has had to cancel the Christmas TramFest Event.

“With the BOM prediction of heavy rain from 1pm and thunderstorms and lightning from 4pm through to the evening with 80 percent probability, we have no other alternative but to cancel TramFest for Saturday 29th November,” Mr Rogerson said.

“There is a possibility that we may host a Christmas in July TramFest in July 2026. We will keep you all posted.”

“Our apologies for this decision, but for the safety of the public, having due respect for the economic viability of stall holders, food vendors and personal safety of ASV staff, musicians and all TramFest volunteers, it's a decision TNTCo felt compelled to make and make early.”

“Thankyou for your consideration and we look forward to working with you all at a future TramFest.”
