Winter tourism campaign launched to drive bookings across the Sunshine Coast
A new tourism campaign designed to drive bookings and visitor spending across the Sunshine Coast has launched, showcasing the breadth of experiences available across the region.
Visit Sunshine Coast (VSC) has partnered with Experience Oz to deliver the promotion, offering travellers $100 off when they spend $200 or more on Sunshine Coast experiences.
The campaign is being delivered by Visit Sunshine Coast and Experience Oz, with support from Tourism and Events Queensland, and is designed to encourage travel during the winter period while driving bookings and visitor spending for local tourism businesses.
Visit Sunshine Coast CEO Matt Stoeckel said the campaign would shine a spotlight on the many experiences available across the region year-round. "The Sunshine Coast is home to hundreds of incredible experiences, from getting out on the water and exploring our coastline to discovering the hinterland and everything in between,” Mr Stoeckel said.
“This campaign is all about giving people another reason to book that trip, get out and explore, and support the local businesses that make our visitor experience so special.”
“Every booking makes a difference. It supports local operators, local jobs and helps keep our visitor economy thriving during an important time of year for the industry.”
Tourism Events and Queensland, CEO Craig Davidson said initiatives like this help keep the Sunshine Coast front of mind for travellers planning their next holiday.
“This promotion is a great example of industry and government working together to drive visitation and support tourism businesses for one of Queensland’s most popular destinations,” Mr Davidson said.
“By providing travellers with an incentive to book experiences, the campaign will help generate visitor spending for local operators while encouraging visitors to make the most of everything the region has to offer.”

The campaign is available for bookings between 23 June and 21 July 2026 or until sold out, with travel valid through to 4 October 2026, and is expected to boost visitation and visitor spending across the Sunshine Coast.
Eligible experiences include tours, attractions, cultural experiences, tasting experiences, boat and water-based activities, and experience-led tourism packages.
