Five years on, Elite Foot Care steps up with more services
Brothers Jay Lewis and Will O’Hara, centre, have invested in state of the art facilities and equipment and an exceptional team of practitioners.
ESTABLISHED in 2020 by brothers Jay Lewis and Will O’Hara, Elite Foot Care Woombye celebrates five years of serving the hinterland this year.
“Our mission has always been to help our patients to enjoy a better quality of life,” Jay said. “Foot pain, discomfort and limited mobility can often be traced back to podiatry-related issues, and the solutions can be remarkably simple.
“We have invested in state of the art facilities and equipment, an exceptional team of practitioners, and world class leading edge services to revolutionize the way our patients experience podiatry care.”
The Elite Foot Care team has expanded to include 7 podiatrists and a support staff of 8, spread between the Sippy Downs and Woombye clinics.
“We have put together a team of professionals who share the same values of excellence, compassion, and community involvement,” Will explained.
“We consider ourselves to be more than just a healthcare facility, our practice is a community. It is a place where patients discover not only relief for their foot ailments but also a sense of belonging.
“Our clinics have been designed to be warm and welcoming so that patients are not merely recipients of medical services, but active participants in their own healthcare journey.”
Jay and Will’s energy and passion for excellence in service offering, patient care, and professional development were recognised with The Hive Allied Health Practice of the Year Award late last year. An Australia wide award, the Hive Allied Health Practice award is given to an exceptional clinic.
“The rapid growth of our practice is thanks to our to our commitment to our community and team development, state of the art facilities and medical equipment, owning and operating our own custom orthotics factory, plus the experience and specialisation of our podiatrists,” Jay said.
“We currently have two podiatrists now with endorsement which means they will be able to prescribe antibiotics, perform complex nail surgeries and offer ultrasound guided injection therapies such as cortisone steroids where appropriate.
“We are able to offer industry leading foot, leg and heel pain treatment, running assessment, custom orthotics, surgical toenail services, laser treatment for fungal nail and warts and treatment for an array of other skin and nail conditions” he said.
“Being able to offer patients world class care for complex pain and lower limb conditions without them having to leave the coast is extremely gratifying. It is the realisation of our goals and we are excited about the next five years.”
