Yandina artists rally to raise funds for hall

Local artists will unite for a creative cause on Saturday July 26, with an art exhibition at Yandina School of Arts to raise funds for vital roof repairs to the historic hall.

Running from 9am to 2pm, the community event will showcase a diverse selection of paintings, photography and sculpture from local creators, all available for sale.

Visitors can meet the artists, enjoy a chat over a cuppa, and support the fundraising efforts through a raffle of donated artworks and a silent auction featuring two pieces by Kath Chambers and Brett Henderson (@Art by Hendo).

The day will also feature a sausage sizzle outside, with tea, coffee, cakes and slices available inside the hall.

Organisers are encouraging locals and visitors alike to come along, enjoy the atmosphere, and discover the hidden talents of artists from Yandina and surrounds — all while helping preserve a much-loved community venue.

Pieces to be auctioned to raise money for the hall.
