Two festive favourites set to light up Yandina
Four solo voices from Brisbane’s professional choir, One Equal Music, will fill the Yandina School of Arts.
Yandina is set for a night of art, music and festive cheer on Saturday December 6, with two vibrant events combining to showcase the town’s creative heart.
From 4–9pm, Stevens Street will transform into a bustling hub of colour and craftsmanship for the annual Christmas Art & Design Market.
The twilight event will feature a handpicked selection of local artists and makers, offering art, ceramics, jewellery and handcrafted wares alongside live music, carol singers and creative workshops.
Sponsored by Stevens Street Gallery, Visit Yandina, Business Yandina and Sunshine Coast Council, the market has become one of the region’s most popular pre-Christmas gatherings, drawing visitors keen to find unique, locally made gifts while soaking up Yandina’s community atmosphere.
Adding to the festive spirit, a special concert presented by Stevens Street Gallery will take place just a short stroll away at the Yandina School of Arts. A Choral Christmas will run from 7–8pm, featuring four solo voices from Brisbane’s acclaimed professional choir One Equal Music.
The dual events highlight Yandina’s thriving creative community and offer an ideal way to celebrate the season close to home.
“It’s about creating a magical evening where people can come together and experience the best of local art and music,” Ms Eggleston said.
