Thousands expected at Yandina Street Fair, set to light up town

Yandina’s biggest day of the year is almost here, with the much-loved Yandina Street Fair returning on Sunday 24 August from 11am to 7.30pm.

Thousands are expected to pack the town’s main streets for a full day of live music, market stalls, family activities, food, fireworks and community spirit.

“There’s something for everyone,” organisers said. “From live entertainment on three stages to pony rides, face painting, balloon twisting and a petting zoo — it’s a day the whole family can enjoy.”

The popular Amusement Alley will be back, along with Speedway and Classic Cars displays, and a wide range of artisan and homemade stalls showcasing local creativity and craftsmanship.

The festivities will finish with a spectacular fireworks and laser light show, closing out the Fair with a bang.

The Yandina Street Fair is run by a team of dedicated volunteers and operates as a sub-committee of the Yandina Chamber of Commerce Inc. The event highlights the best of local business and community in Yandina and surrounding districts.

Entry is free, and visitors are encouraged to come early, stay late and make the most of the food, fun and festivities on offer. For updates, follow Yandina Street Fair on Facebook and Instagram.
