Senior cats deserve a new life and a new home

Gypsy, Holly and Lilly may have a few years between them – but they also have plenty of personality, affection and companionship still to give.

Each of them has found themselves in the care of 4 Paws Animal Rescue through no fault of their own. Gypsy lost the only family she’s ever known after one elderly owner passed away and the other one went into palliative care. Holly and Lilly both found themselves alone and confused in the pound.

Sadly, older cats are frequently overlooked. Yet given the chance, they are the most incredibly loving and grateful companions.

Older cats have a lot going for them. Their personalities are already established and known. They’re past the crazy kitten zoomie stage. And they’re content with the simple comforts of a sunny spot to rest in, a comfortable lap and someone to keep them company.

A senior cat can be a wonderful fit for an older person, someone living alone or a home looking for a calm, gentle friend. Gypsy, Holly and Lilly would each be happiest as the only pet in the home where they can enjoy having your attention all to themselves.

At 15, Gypsy will be a permanent foster animal with all her vet care covered by 4 Paws for life. Holly and Lilly are both healthy ladies and available for adoption.

These lovely ladies have given a lifetime of loyalty and love to their families. They deserve a loving retirement home to see out their golden years.
