A Fair Day Out celebrates 14 years of inclusion creativity and community

The Sunshine Coast community is invited to come together for a day of celebration, connection and inclusion as A Fair Day Out 2026 returns to the iconic Eumundi Markets on Saturday 12 September.

Now in its 14th year, A Fair Day Out showcases the creativity, talents and contributions of people with disability while creating opportunities for the whole community to connect, learn and celebrate together.

Steph Whelan, CEO, Equity Works said the free event will feature live performances, artisan market stalls, interactive activities, community displays, food vendors and family-friendly entertainment throughout the morning.

"A Fair Day Out is about bringing people together through shared experiences. It creates opportunities for people to connect, make new friends and celebrate the strengths, creativity and achievements of people with disability,” he said.
