Angela Newcomb brings 1920s jazz to The Presynct

Step back in time on Thursday, 15 May, as celebrated vocalist and composer Angela Newcomb brings the golden age of jazz to life at The Presynct in Nambour.

In Jazz in the 20s, Newcomb pays tribute to icons like Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong and Cole Porter, delivering timeless tunes with a modern elegance. Known for her work with The Dawn Light, she’ll also perform original compositions from the 2020s—blending a century of jazz influences in one special show.

Newcomb will be joined by a stellar lineup of local talent: Bruce Woodward (guitar), OJ Newcomb (bass), Katie Randall (drums), and Mark Spencer (tenor sax).

Doors open at 6pm with music from 7pm to 9.30pm. Tickets are $18–$35 at oztix.com.au.
