Addressing a packed room at the Nambour Cinema & Events Centre, Mayor Natoli said “this is the moment for Nambour”, praising the momentum of private projects such as the C Square redevelopment, unveiled to members for the first time.

She compared Nambour’s potential to Brisbane’s West End, saying the vision was for a town that was “alive, vibrant, and a little bit edgy”.

Joined by Sunshine Coast Council CEO John Baker, the Mayor reinforced council’s commitment to backing local business and attracting further investment.

The event showcased the leadership of developer William Phillips, the Chamber of Commerce and I Am Nambour chair Rhonda Billett, who have worked tirelessly to position Nambour as a hub for growth.

“This is the moment for Nambour and we are all 100 percent behind those projects that have been lodged or are about to be lodged,” the Mayor said. “Because we know that Nambour needs this time and needs this love and we also know it needs money. We know you want to see that follow through.”
