Nambour’s landmark C-Square precinct is in the midst of a multi-million-dollar transformation, with works already underway on what is the largest reinvestment in the site since its original construction.

Sandran Property Group, which acquired the property in 2021, has committed to a complete overhaul of the retail and commercial hub. The upgrade will modernise shopfronts, public spaces and building systems, with new landscaping, façades and accessibility improvements all part of the 12-month construction program.

A new mix of hospitality, retail, commercial and community facilities is planned to complement existing businesses and help re-establish C-Square as a vibrant town centre destination.

Sandran says its commitment is about more than construction. “We believe in the future of Nambour and are proud to play our part in its revitalisation. C-Square will be reimagined as a modern, sustainable, and community-focused precinct that supports local jobs, attracts new businesses, and delivers spaces the whole community can be proud of.”

The redevelopment ties directly into broader efforts to activate the CBD, with business leaders urging Sunshine Coast Council to back private investment with long-overdue public domain improvements.

When complete, the project is expected to give locals and visitors a modern, people-friendly community hub at the very centre of Nambour.
