New gym opens in heart of Nambour CBD

Club Lime 24/7 Gym will be opening in the Nambour Central Shopping Centre this month.

A new 1000sqm gym will open at Nambour Central Shopping Centre this month, as fitness group Club Lime expands its Sunshine Coast operations.

The new Club Lime facility will open on Saturday, September 19, becoming the company’s fifth Sunshine Coast location and its 23rd in Queensland.

Located on Level 1 of the shopping centre in Lowe Street, the gym will offer 24-hour access, Technogym equipment and virtual reformer Pilates, along with flexible membership options.

Club Lime already operates gyms at Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Sippy Downs and Noosaville.

Senior general manager of Club Lime and Hiit Republic at Viva Leisure, Ross Sutherland, said Nambour was a natural location for the company’s continued expansion on the Coast.

“The Sunshine Coast continues to be one of Australia’s fastest-growing regions, and we’re excited to expand our presence in Nambour,” Mr Sutherland said.

“Our goal is to make premium fitness accessible to more people by offering high-quality facilities, flexible memberships and a welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable pursuing their health and fitness goals.”

The company has also entered into a sponsorship partnership with Nambour Strikers Cricket Club as part of its move into the local community.

Club manager Matayah Box said supporting grassroots sport was one way the business could establish links with Nambour.

“Grassroots clubs play such an important role in bringing people together, encouraging healthy lifestyles and creating opportunities for people of all ages to get active, so we’re proud to play a small part in supporting that,” Ms Box said.

The new gym is at Area T15, Level 1, Nambour Central Shopping Centre, 25 Lowe Street, Nambour.

Viva Leisure operates more than 500 locations across Australia, New Zealand and India under several fitness brands.

The gym will hold a free community open day from 9am–12pm on September 19, giving residents the opportunity to inspect the facility and meet staff. Activities will include gym tours, fitness challenges, product tastings and giveaways.
