Christmas in July themed dance planned for Belli Community Hall

The theme for the next Cooloola Coast Dances Group Old Time Dance at Belli Community Hall is Christmas in July, and will be an opportunity for guests to dress up and enjoy a festive mood.

“July 19 is the night to put on your social dancing calendar at Belli,” said organiser, Julie Mcphail.

“We are looking forward to hosting a fantastic night of dancing for our wonderful regular patrons and hopefully we will see some new faces too,” she said.

“Our group operates with the help of our devoted retirees in the group of the Cooloola Coast Dances, who attend each dance every month. It would be hard to host these monthly dances from April to November without them,” she said.

“We are proud to help keep the Belli Community Hall busy, and every dance helps with maintaining the hall.

“So please keep supporting these lovely old wooden floored halls and keep dancing alive. Let's liven things up and keep dancing happily while we can. See you all on Saturday 19th July in your Christmas finery. Come along and surprise us.

“Bring your friends for a very happy night of social dancing and camaraderie.”

The evening will run from 7pm till 11pm. $12 covers entry for band and light supper. There will be raffles, prizes and the best dressed male and female will win a prize.
