Young DJ Duzza set to headline ‘silent disco’ at TramCo

DJ Duzza, whose real name is Levi Durran, has been building a reputation for energetic sets.

One of the Sunshine Coast’s emerging young DJs will take centre stage this October when DJ Duzza headlines Trax on Tracks, a silent disco experience at the historic Tram-Co as part of the 2026 Rangebow Festival.

The event transforms the vintage tram into a moving dance floor where guests don wireless headphones and enjoy a high-energy soundtrack while travelling through Nambour’s heritage precinct. It is a fresh take on the silent disco concept and one of the festival’s most distinctive events.

Festival Director Wayne Parcell said the event reflected Rangebow’s commitment to giving emerging artists opportunities alongside established performers.

“Trax on Tracks is exactly the sort of event that Rangebow loves to create. It combines heritage, music, imagination and young local talent to produce an experience people simply can’t find anywhere else. We are delighted to showcase DJ Duzza as one of the next generation of Sunshine Coast performers.”

DJ Duzza, whose real name is Levi Durran, has been building a reputation for energetic sets and a passion for creating an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome on the dance floor. “I have been to a couple of silent discos which were so much fun, but I have never DJ’d a silent disco so it’s something I’m really looking forward to,” he said.

The event is being developed with mentoring support from respected Sunshine Coast DJ Sasha Vatoff, providing an opportunity for an emerging artist to perform in one of the festival’s most innovative productions.

The excitement is building for DJ Duzza too.  “I want the crowd to leave with big smiles on their faces, feeling energised and buzzing because they’ve experienced something completely new.”

Unlike a traditional dance party, guests will hear the music exclusively through wireless headphones, creating the unique spectacle of a tram full of people dancing while the outside world hears little more than laughter and conversation.

Trax on Tracks forms part of the nine-day Rangebow Festival, which celebrates creativity, inclusion and community through music, theatre, visual arts and immersive experiences across the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

Wayne said Rangebow is now inviting other young Sunshine Coast DJs to join Trax on Tracks.
