Meet the artist, Gary Shark Bug

Meet Gary Shark Bug, a unique local artist with a distinct passion for sharks and VW Beetles, at his next book-signing. Gary has just published his latest storybook Noosa Bank Job involving the Nambour and Sippy Downs police in an hilarious plot to rob Noosa Bank.

Gary has defied all the odds and despite being born with a rare crippling genetic condition, walks, talks and rides a Greenspeed Supertrike. He mostly talks about cars, and his interactions with the local police—the stories he publishes are a riot of colour and imagination. Children, especially boys, are particularly drawn to his artwork. He has a naive style that they can relate to. Gary is not only a prolific watercolour artist, he also draws highly original teeshirts which are very popular with his mum's Air B’nB guests.
