Kenilworth Country Cabins team revs up for Variety Bash
Kenilworth Country Cabins Car 911 is on the road again.
Kenilworth’s Mark Bingham and the team behind Car 911 are gearing up once again for the iconic Variety Bash, setting off from St George on 3 August.
Representing Kenilworth Country Cabins, the team raised $30,000 last year for children in need and were named Best Presented Vehicle. This year, they’re already well on their way with $26,500 banked and more fundraising ahead before the event kicks off.
The 2025 Bash marks 50 years since Variety – the Children’s Charity began operating in Australia. To celebrate, every state’s route will converge in Adelaide for the first national Variety Bash in a decade.
Mr Bingham said it’s not just about the drive—it’s about giving back. “The Variety Bash is unique in that it both raises funds for kids in need and distributes grants along the way. It is more than a drive through the outback, but a celebration of community spirit and our shared commitment to support those Aussie kids who need us most,” he said.
