Live at the Chapel returns with free music night in Nambour
Live at the Chapel is set to return to Nambour on Saturday April 4, offering a free evening of live music and storytelling at Ignite Church Auditorium.
The monthly event, hosted by Ignite Church Nambour and presented by Aussie Grown Radio, will run from 6pm at 29 Short Street and is open to all ages.
Organisers say the family-friendly night will once again showcase Christian artists performing original music, with donations collected during the event to support the musicians and their ongoing work.
Headlining this month is Aaron Partridge & the Brothers of Redemption. Originally from Tasmania and raised in northern Australia, Mr Partridge brings more than 20 years’ experience as a singer, guitarist and songwriter. His music draws on personal experience and spiritual themes, delivered through a blend of blues-rock, country, gospel and soul.
After a break from performing, he signed with US label Grace Records Nashville in 2024 and is now releasing new original material.
Supporting the headline act are Steve and Ainsley Apirana, a husband-and-wife duo with a long history in gospel music. Mr Apirana began his musical journey in Rotorua, New Zealand, later forming bands and touring extensively across Australia and overseas. Ms Apirana, a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, performs alongside him on guitar, whistle and flute.
Together, the pair are known for sharing original songs and personal stories with audiences.
Drinks and nibbles will be available for purchase on the night.
Organisers are encouraging locals to “put this event in your calendar for the 1st Saturday of each month”, describing it as “a great night of inspiring music and stories” that is free and open to the community.
