Maleny has always been a place that does things its own way. On 26 September 2026, that spirit took centre stage for the very first Maleny Music Muster & Big Cheese Roll at the Maleny Showgrounds Pavilion.

Proudly presented by Music 2 Media Events and the Maleny Show Society the event celebrated three things Maleny does better than anywhere else: local music, local business, and dairy. The Muster combined Country hospitality and talented artists, passionate music lovers and the local businesses that make this community what it is.  

The Lineup
Headlining the Muster was Col Finley (Hands of Fame Inductee), Matt Scullion (Multi Golden Guitar Winner), and Cooper Lane (2026 Country Stars Winner) –  three names that need no introduction on the Australian country music scene.

Joining them were Mackenzie Lee (2026 Stars Maker Finalist), The Finleys (Rockin' Country Love Story), Shanleigh Rose (Award Winning Songwriter), Henry Catania, Chris Ramsay, Jack Raymond, Maddie Cail, and Nyssa Ray. Plus line dancing by Ellie "Neon Boots," food vans, and a bar on site.

The Big Cheese Roll
Only in Maleny. The Big Cheese Roll was a chance to be part of local history and a celebration of the dairy community that has shaped this region for generations.
