Get ready for an unforgettable weekend as the Mapleton Choir returns with their brand-new concert series, “Rivers and Roads.”
“This isn’t just any concert – it’s a celebration,” said choir spokesperson Kathie Buswell. “The choir has assembled a wonderfully diverse repertoire that promises something for every musical taste.”
Audience members will be treated to traditional pieces like Simple Gifts and Shenandoah, the moving Ave Maria, to a classic from Billy Joel and some Java Jive from The Manhattan Transfer.
As well, there will be special guest instrumentalists and smaller group performances included in the program.
A Tribute to John’s Journey
“Beyond the brilliant music, this series marks an extraordinary milestone,” said Kathie.
The choir will be paying a special tribute to John Taylor, who is celebrating a monumental 40 years as the choir’s piano accompanist.
“Four decades of incredible talent and dedication, is an epic achievement, and the choir invites the entire community to come along to fill our small hall.”
