Garden Club new members morning tea

Back row from left: Steven Harlow, Brian Cull, Stephanie Mullins,  Heather Nicholson, Toni McCarthy, Peta Trainer, Michelle Dickson, Caroline Crowther and President Narelle Hyde. Front row from left: Shelley Reaney, Gloria Malcolm and Vicki Newman.

Nambour Garden Club invited members who have recently joined the Club to a welcoming morning tea at The Ginger Factory at Yandina on the 23rd of March. Members enjoyed delicious scones with ginger marmalade and cream as they chatted and learnt more about the workings of the Club from President Narelle and Treasurer John.

Due to Easter Monday being a public holiday, the next Club meeting will be held on Monday 13 April. The guest speaker will be Angela Wright from Fairhill Nursery at Ninderry.  Angela will be sharing the past, present and what the future looks like for this 50 year old native nursery.    Some members will find it a walk down memory lane with many fond memories of this nursery and the plants produced there.

Doors are open at 9am for a 10am start at the Nambour Uniting Church Hall with entry via Donaldson Road where parking is available.  Visitors are always welcome to attend our meetings which are usually held on the first Monday of the month. The Club can be contacted by phone 0490 415 067, email nambourgardenclub@gmail.com or Facebook
