Nambour Garden Club welcomes new year, new president

President Narelle Hyde is a keen gardener who enjoys planting and tending to her garden in Nambour.

Nambour Garden Club has welcomed a new president for 2026, with keen local gardener Narelle Hyde taking up the role.

Nambour Garden Club has been meeting for over 40 years and has a long history built on its motto, Friendship through Gardening. 

The Club meets on the first Monday of the month, February through to November in the Nambour Uniting Church Hall. 

Please note entry is via Donaldson Road, and there is easy parking in the church grounds.

The meeting commences at 10am, however doors are open at 9am to welcome members and visitors.  

There are plant sales, raffles, a competition table to vote for your favourite plant/flower, and morning tea to be enjoyed. 

Each month there is an informative guest speaker covering a broad range of gardening topics as members are always interested in learning more about gardening and the environment they live in. 

The first meeting for the year is on Monday 2 February and the guest speaker will be giving a demonstration on bonsai techniques.

Visitors are always welcome to attend meetings with the view of making new friendships through gardening.
