Thursday Markets Sausage Sizzle is back thanks to Nambour Grown

There’s nothing more Aussie than the smell of snags and onion cooking on a barbecue. Nambour Grown community garden will be barbecuing each Thursday morning 9am-noon in Nambour town square and they would love to see you there.

When you have brekkie or lunch with Nambour Grown, you are supporting the town’s community garden.

“Nambour Grown is a bunch of fab people who run the community garden in the Showgrounds,” said president Racheal Pascoe. “If you would like to join the team or simply keep in the loop, you can follow us on Facebook - Nambour Grown.”

Nambour Grown’s Sausage Sizzle prices are very reasonable. It’s only $3 for a sausage in bread (without or without onion), $7.50 for a bacon and egg roll and soft drinks are $2.50 each.

“If you have to pop into town to run errands or do business, please come to the barbecue and join us for a snag and a chat,” said Racheal. “We’d love to see you. There are lots of other lovely stalls to visit as well. We are loving Nambour back to life … one sausage sizzle at a time.”
