Nambour Plaza has school holidays family fun sorted with up-close animal encounters

With School holidays starting this weekend, Nambour Plaza will host a series of events to keep the kids happy and entertained.

“We are partnering with Wildlife Unleashed and Sunshine Coast Party Ponies to make this school holiday truly memorable,” said Centre Manager, Michelle Lees.

“The team at Wildlife Unleashed have been extremely popular with our younger visitors because their education programs provide an up-close experience with a range of different creatures”.

“They offer a unique perspective of the animal kingdom which helps to nurture a deeper respect for and understanding of our local wildlife, and appreciation for the environment,” she said.

Sunshine Coast Party Ponies will also be at the Nambour Plaza during the holidays with their baby animal petting zoo.

From fluffy miniature goats to adorable baby chicks, this is an opportunity to connect with some of nature's most endearing creatures.

“This is a wonderful way for animal lovers to experience a hands-on encounter, where the children can cuddle and learn about these adorable animals in a gentle, safe and welcoming environment,” Michelle said.

Passionate wildlife educators and conservationists, Mick and Adele from Wildlife Unleashed.
