Gallery: Toads turn out in force for a day to remember
Nambour Toads Rugby Union Club turned on a huge community day on Saturday, blending Ladies, Old Boys & Sponsors Day with a heartfelt tribute to former player Brooke Day, who died earlier this year.
Families, players and supporters packed the stand and sidelines as the senior women opened the day with a 73-nil win over University, before the club paid tribute to Brooke with speeches and the presentation of the inaugural Brooke Day Memorial Shield to Beth McKenna.
The occasion combined a celebration of the women who support the club with mums, grandmas, wives and girlfriends accompanying players on to the field before each kickoff.
The celebrations continued across the colts and seniors matches, with the club welcoming its 1000th member, Lucas Kirkwood, and recognising new life members Jarran “Cheeky” Preston and Greg Wright.
Meanwhile, more than $20,000 was raised for new women's change rooms.
Here's a look at the day in pictures.
