Serious traffic crash, Nambour

Police are investigating following a traffic crash in Nambour yesterday evening, 23 July.

Initial investigations indicate at around 5.40pm, a 44-year-old woman was attempting to cross Nambour Connection Road when she was struck by a Mitsubishi Lancer station wagon.

The woman sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.

The driver of the vehicle, 34-year-old man, remained on scene and is cooperating with police.

Investigations are ongoing.
